Today I came across a segment on message mapping as another tool for crafting your elevator pitch. While it has some merit, my observation is that it doesn’t allow for an interactive exchange, which in my estimation is essential. With the interactive exchange you can customize your elevator pitch based on what you’ve learned from the other person. Once you do this you’ve increased your chances of engagement vs. strictly selling.
