Some of you may know that I’m a Leo.  Since I’m passionate about networking (and the month of August), I came up with the acronym of R.O.A.R.  In case you didn’t know, acronyms are a great tool to aid with retention.  I’ve used them for many years in my coaching, webinars, presentations, podcasts, and client handouts.  They always serve me well.  I hope you find the same results.

In this case R.O.A.R. stands for Reaching Outstanding Achievements Rapidly.  This is one of 100 examples of 30-second commercials that I feature in my networking book “In 30 Seconds Speak Like You Mean Business.”  Too often, I run across other professionals who don’t seem to R.O.A.R. (or perhaps don’t know how to) about the value they bring to their clients and potential prospects.  If they don’t do this, then who will?  It’s imperative that we each feel confident about what we offer to others.  Not only do we need to feel confident but it’s equally important to look and sound confident.

You may be thinking to yourself that this is easier said than done.  It’s okay to not be there yet or to feel unsure of how to gain confidence.  That’s where I come in and as always, I’m happy to assist you with your ability to R.O.A.R. Knowing how and when to R.O.A.R. in the business world is a vital skill and one that can be learned.
